At Baby Time Baskets and Gifts we hope that our baskets and gifts give as much pleasure to those who receive them as we have had designing them. The 12 main themes originating from the idea of 12 hours in a day, (although most new parents probably feel there’s never enough hours in the day), provide a gift for every occasion.
We hope that our gifts cater for all tastes with traditional pastel baby colours to modern bright vibrant colours, and prices to suit all budgets. We would like to make your shopping experience with us as stress free and pleasurable as possible, however, there are certain facts you must be aware of.

You the customer means the person who purchases the Basket or Gift.
Ordering
On line orders are made through Sage Pay, a secure payment gateway and Lloyds TSB Bank Plc who provide our merchant service.
We accept payment from most major credit and debit cards, unfortunately we are unable to accept payment from American Express and Diners Club Cards. All prices are in UK Sterling and include VAT.
We have tried to make the on line purchasing a simple process:
Once you have made your selection and if appropriate completed the gift card/tag message on the contents description page
Select ’place order’.
Check the order details and proceed to ‘check out’, where you will be required to ‘confirm the order’ and complete the relevant information for delivery and payment.
We will notify you by e-mail to acknowledge the order and a second e-mail when your order has been dispatched.
All orders are subject to our sales team’s approval and will be checked prior to dispatch to ensure the details provided are correct.
Should we be unable to complete the sale for any reason we will refund you within 48 hours.
The management reserves the right to refuse any sale from the site for any reason.
You have the right to cancel up until the goods are dispatched. We also accept payment by cheque, however, goods will not be dispatched until the cheque has cleared. If you prefer to pay by cheque please submit your order by e-mail stating the following:
The item (full description please).
Your name and address and contact telephone number.
Delivery name and address.
Message for Gift Card/Tag.
Cheques should be made payable to Baby Time Baskets And Gifts and the goods will be dispatched once the cheque is cleared.
Delivery
We do not deliver outside the UK without prior arrangement as this incurs a surcharge not included in the product price.
Goods are usually dispatched within 24 hours from payment authorisation.
Orders received Friday, Saturday or Sunday will be dispatched the following Monday, except Bank Holidays when it will be the next working day.
We use FedEx 3 day courier service or Royal Mail Parcel Post if under 2kgs.
A signature is required for both delivery methods. If delivery is to a business premisies we request that as much information as possible is given at the time of ordering, i.e. company name, full address.
Delivery to Mainland UK is included in the price.
Please contact us prior to ordering for deliveries outside Mainland UK.
The Scottish Highlands and Islands - £5.95 Surcharge.
Northern Ireland and Isle of Man - £9.95 Surcharge.
Southern Ireland - £15.95 Surcharge.
All our Gift Baskets are packed in strong custom made cardboard boxes and the voids are filled with air fill bags.
We ask that all packaging is kept until you are completely happy with the purchase. A note will be put in the box to inform the recipient. (See Returns)
All goods are sent via insured delivery where appropriate. We will usually replace any product damaged in transit immediately and deal with the courier firm to seek compensation ourselves. However, we reserve the right to not replace items prior to an investigation by the courier firm, and to inspect any goods prior to issuing replacements. You must retain any packaging where a product has been damaged in transit.
We are sorry we can not deliver to Hospitals or Nursing Homes.
Finally, all delivery times quoted are approximate. We expect all deliveries to be within 5 working days and often within 48 hours. If, for whatever reason, it would appear that delivery will take longer we will contact you with an explanation and an offer to either accept the delay or take a complete refund.
Returns
Our returns procedure complies with the Distance Selling Regulations 2000.
Customers have 7 days from the point of receiving the goods, to return the product in its original condition for a refund.
You must notify us in writing or e-mail.
The product must be returned unopened, and including all packaging in the same condition.
Please be aware that you are responsible for the goods until they are delivered to us in a good condition.
Any lotions, soaps, shampoos and clothing must be returned unused and unopened for hygiene reasons. If any products are returned unfit for resale we will make deductions based on the RRP of each item.
Goods which have been opened will only be refunded if proved to be faulty or damaged.
We will not refund carriage costs on products returned for restocking.
Should you require our courier to collect the package a fee would be charged, this is currently £18.72.
A refund would be made to the credit/debit card used by the customer or in the case of payment by cheque, a cheque.
Exchanges
In the unlikely event you should wish to exchange the basket or gift, the returns procedure applies with the exception that the delivery cost of the original product will be deducted also.
The returned item must be received by us before a new one is dispatched.
Our Products

Every care has been taken to describe the goods although the colour of the images may vary slightly from the true colours. The sizes stated are as per manufacturers measurements.
Whilst we have taken great care to use only the best and most well known baby products in our baskets, we can not guarantee these products are suitable for all babies.
We reserve the right to substitute products to the same value in our gift baskets and will inform you if this is necessary.
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. We accept no liability for price reductions made after an order has been placed. Although we will endeavour to give customers fair warning.
Warranty
A warranty is supplied on most of our products. This warranty is somewhat limited as the vast majority of our products are only likely to be damaged through wear and tear - which obviously we cannot cover. However, where there is a clear manufacturing defect we will refund the customer in full or replace the item, depending on the circumstances. In all cases our maximum liability will be the total cost of the failed product and we will not refund consequential losses.
